Prince Harry is teaming up with pop star Natasha Bedingfield to stage a Live Aid-style concert to raise funds for their African charities.
They have been secretly working on the project for months and plan to have the concert broadcast around the world next year.
Natasha’s mother, Molly Bedingfield, runs her own international children’s charity, Global Angels, for which her daughter is an ambassador.
She has had several meetings with Harry and the team who run his Sentebale charity, which supports orphans and vulnerable children in Lesotho, the tiny nation entirely surrounded by South Africa.
Natasha, 27, first joined forces with Harry, 24, two years ago when she sang at Princess Diana’s memorial concert.
A source close to the project said: ‘There will be a flagship concert in 2010 that will be televised around the world. Molly and Harry have had several meetings about it.’
